Site no longer live
As part of the launch of their new brand identity, Unilever decided to instigate a vitality campaign that they would begin in the own head office, and spread virally to encourage others to get involved. We created a community site that showcased the new brand and made early use of Web2.0 concepts.
The site provided details of their ‘Vitality’ activities – including lunchtime classes, turning the elevators off, and even introducing more healthy food in their canteens.
They then encouraged their staff to report back on things they had tried. This included everything from small lifestyle changes to recipes.
The design solution animated the new brand elements to represent the key food sector areas Unilever operates within. I used a vibrant colour palette to represent each of those separate areas.

Users could sign-up to the campaign and contribute to the site, receiving weekly update emails detailing what has been going on both at Unilever, and what other users are recommending.
